The Great Old Eagle soars and is unstoppable…

King Solomon said in one of his numerous proverbs that:

“When justice is served, the lovers of God celebrate and rejoice, but the wicked begin to panic.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:15‬ ‭TPT‬‬

There was once a great old eagle that was standing on a hard solid rock near its own cave. The old eagle had been waiting for some time now inside the cave, for the purpose of getting its strength renewed and restored.

It had come out of the cave to test and find out, if its foot were fully healed and restored. The foot had to be stronger and firmer for standing on the rock than ever before. The renewed and restored foot would had to be used for hunting out its preys, as soon as the waiting time for the healing process is over.

The great old eagle was finally feeling a deep sense of relief from the old weighty nails, which had been removed from the foot. Those nails had become a great burden whenever the eagle soared in the air with them.

But while the eagle was standing outside of its cave, and still applying pressure with the foot on the rock; all of a sudden without any sign of expectation a desert owl attacked it.

The desert owl had been trying to affirm its supremacy over the other birds in the area. An area where the great old eagle had been reigning among the other birds and animals. The desert owl never knew that the great old eagle had always been over this territory before its arrival. The owl had showed up from nowhere and wanted to take over the territory.

As the desert owl flew across with its foot hitting the old eagle in a hard place on the back, the old eagle who was caught by surprise staggered a little bit; but remained steady and firmly in the same position on the top of the rock.

The desert owl was not yet finished. It decided to soar around in circles several times, so as to wear out the great old eagle who had now set its eyes on the desert owl. But while circling around the owl kept looking for the right spot, from which it could hit the old eagle easily again.

A little distance away was the great hawk, who had been observing what was going on from its own nest on top of a tall pine tree. With a surprising look in its eyes it wished that, the desert owl would not had even tried to disturb the great eagle at its own place.

The hawk signaled with some screechy noise that; this was going to bring some troubles for the other birds in the territory. The hawk had said to itself: “something ugly is about to happen here.”

From another corner of the territory was the vulture also, who had said within itself while making its grunting noise and observing what was happening: “I am going to eat somebody for lunch today”

The desert owl thought that it had wearied the old eagle long enough by circling around its cave. It needed to act immediately. Otherwise, the threat might be mistaken by the eagle for a mischievous play. It decided to go ahead with a decisive blow, so as to finish with the eagle once and for all, by pushing it off the rock and away from the mountain top to its fall.

All the other birds knew that the eagle was not ready for a fight with anyone yet. Neither was the eagle even ready to be soaring in the air. It still needed time to completely heal and recover from its self-inflicted wounds, which were meant for the renewal and restoration of its strength.

The desert owl charged ahead anyway with full speed, so as to strike at the old eagle. But without being aware of what to expect, the eagle had not set its eyes off any of the maneuverings by the owl in the air. The eagle was already anticipating an attack from the owl. It knew that it was imminent, but it never knew how it would happen.

And as the owl finally charged towards the eagle, the eagle decided to jump slightly away from its standing position on the top of the rock. It had to get away from the pathway of the desert owl, as it doesn’t know what to expect from it.

The owl missed its target and had hit the hard solid rock in a bad way. It slumped to the floor, while the great eagle immediately moved on its neck. The eagle stiffened the neck of the owl with its foot and new nails. The eagle did not even had to fight in all of these.

But in this victory of the eagle over the owl, we can see how experience does matter a lot in spiritual warfare. The great old eagle got a sweet victory, because it was only being tactical while putting its maturity and experiences among the other birds into play.

Effectiveness in judgement comes with skillful experiences

Practicing your spiritual skills makes things better

And our spiritual experiences do matter a lot as Christians, in developing new skills for doing greater exploits in God’s Kingdom. A skillful application of your spiritual experiences is helpful in advancing God’s Kingdom on the earth.

You can’t be tactful in spiritual warfare, if you had never always been putting your spiritual skills into practice, while praying in the Holy Spirit. The devil is full of all types of deception and evil. He is very skillful in doing evil things.

And if you had not been practicing with your own skills on him, you may become outwitted by him in his deception. You will have yourself to blame for that; because you do have spiritual skills which you are not developing by whopping the devil all the time.

Stop seeking the Lord in prayer for the strength to do more for Him, when you have not been tapping into your past spiritual experiences in your encounters with Him. God expects us to be using those past experiences in our encounters with Him, in what He has called us to do on the earth.

If the same devil that you had whopped before, by binding him shows up again; then the experience of that previous encounter with him matters a lot. You can do the same thing that you had done before by whopping him again.

And every time you are doing that, you are developing your skills in dealing with him. You are practicing your skills on him, and your spiritual muscles are being developed. And every time you are whopping the devil, he will be more fearful of you.

The skills that were in play by whopping him previously can be used against him again and again. You don’t need anything new to finish him. Christians who are not applying their spiritual skills daily, cannot grow up to become matured in spiritual matters.

The victory of the great old eagle as an example was a perfect way for it, to get its hunting skills tested with the renewed nails and foot. This opportunity was so important for the eagle, especially after its long wait on the mountain top for the healing process to be completed.

When the opportunity showed up to apply the same skill again, the eagle never allowed the opportunity to go away without doing something. This eagle has proved itself as being experienced in fighting and hunting for preys.

Eventually the eagle made sure that the owl was suffocated to death by putting pressure on its neck area. Then it took the first bite of its feathers and the chest area, while peeling off and tearing everything apart on its enemy. The great eagle devoured the desert owl.

This is what we are to be doing with the devil whenever he shows up unexpectedly against us as Christians. The Lord Jesus expects us to be using the authority in His name to whop the devil at all times.

When the devil shows up is not the time to be calling for help in prayer. You can whop him by yourself. Use your authority in the name of Jesus to whop him every time. In this way you are developing your spiritual skills in dealing with him.

The great old eagle devoured the desert owl. And in doing this, it was testing the new beak, which had just gone through the renewal and restoration process.

The evil aggressor (the desert owl) was now dead. The great old eagle had made the desert owl an example for others, not to threaten it again in its own place. Now, there was no more controversy about the fact that the great old eagle, still has its elevated high position as the chief predator among the birds of the air.

This victory had reasserted the great old eagle, as the king of the air among the other birds. Those who had been thinking of challenging it, must now carefully think about it before carrying it out.

The vulture had by this time flew nearer to the scene, with the desire to feast also on the enemy of the great old eagle. The leftover was okay for it.

And after the great old eagle had finally gotten itself well fed for the day, it quietly retired back into its hiding place inside the cave. The eagle left the remains of the desert owl for the vulture and other predators in the territory to feast on.

The Rebirth of a Great Old Eagle

An eagle waits to get its strength restored

The judgement of the desert owl by the great old eagle is what the Lord God expects of us, as His people on the earth in judging the devil and the wickedness, which has been unleashed by him into our world.

The world is much better to live in when every child of God, are using their spiritual skills in judging the evil ones. Wickedness can never come near you at all, when you are using your spiritual skills daily in confronting wickedness everywhere you go. At home, at work and in the marketplaces, you can use your spiritual skills against the enemy.

He knows who you are and how dangerous you are to him, by the use of your spiritual authority skillfully against him. If you do know that you have spiritual authority over the devil and you are not using it; then you will have yourself to blame for not being skillful in the use of your spiritual authority over him.

And God can’t do anything to help us, until we begin to do something about the enemy on our own; because all the authority in the heaven and on the earth, had been given to us in confronting the wickedness in our world.

The Bible says:

“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, and he takes note of everything that happens. He watches over his lovers, and he also sees the wickedness of the wicked.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

An eagle that is soaring in the air and from its elevated position on the mountain top, takes note of every activities around it. It’s able to see the wicked and the righteous of all the birds and the animals around its territory.

Our Lord God is seated in the heavens, and He sees everything that is going on in the world that He had created; and which He had given to us to dominate and be fruitful in, as we are prospering within it.

When the wicked decides to take on the righteous man for no reason at all, apart from his hatred of his righteousness, then the Blessed One who is seated on high will arise in enforcing his judgement on the wicked, so as to justify the righteousness of His righteous man.

There is a coming judgement on the wicked of the earth. It’s coming swiftly and suddenly as the righteous people of God take their position of spiritual authority on the earth. Those who are not walking in spiritual authority will find themselves at a loss.

This judgement of the wicked is not really what you are thinking it’s going to be like, but it’s beautiful and full of the glory of the Almighty God.

There will be many who will just vanish away from your world. You will just not see them ever again, because they will disappear in public disgrace and shame as this judgement is being unleashed on the earth.

You will never hear about them again, or see them again in public view anymore. Others will repent and be saved. While some other bitter ones (like the desert owl) will take their own lives into their own hands.

But the Nation of the Great Old Eagle will re-emerge from the mountain top, soaring higher, bolder and stronger than ever before. She shall be unstoppable and unhindered, as the great old eagle is unhindered or unchallenged in the air.

The Nation of the Great Old Eagle shall be exalted in righteousness over the earth, for others to see and follow her example in righteousness once again.

For:

“A nation is exalted by the righteousness of its people, but sin heaps disgrace upon the land.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14:34‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The glory of the Lord will be seen by all men, as the rebirth of the Nation of the Great Old Eagle is about to take place. Just as the great old eagle from its mountain top renews its strength and comes back into action – stronger and more powerfully than ever before; your spiritual rebirth will signal a new path into your future and destiny in Christ Jesus.

And for those who are already living righteously, there is an abundant prosperity ahead of them, because they had refused to put their faith in the world’s systems. The Lord God will justify their righteous works, and showcase them for everyone to see His reward for righteous living. They will be the spiritual examples for others to follow after, as the coming of the Lord draws closer than ever before.

For:

“If the righteous are rewarded here on earth, what will happen to wicked sinners?”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11:31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

However, the harvest of abundant prosperity in righteousness belongs to the Lord. Those who are following the pathway of the Lord will partake of this harvest. Many will start seeking to know the way of the Lord. They will begin to hunger and thirst for Him.

This is the time for the sleeping Church to arise from her slumber. There is so much work to do for the Kingdom of God. There is no time to waste. The Lord is coming back for His Own. The Church must get them ready and prepared to meet with Him in the air.

However, those who are living wickedly will still continue to live wickedly. It’s not everyone who will see these things that will take note of it. But those who are eagerly waiting for the return of the Lord will take note. They will get themselves ready to meet Him in the air.

And for the wicked as the scriptures says:

“A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth; He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers; Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore, his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭6:12-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The wicked man will never take correction from the mouth of the righteous, no matter how hard the righteous man tries to convince him to repent. The wicked will still continue to do even more wickedly, for evil is bond in the heart of the rebellious.

It’s shameful for the righteous man to be attempting to correct the wicked, because he will be rebuffed every time he does it. The wicked will never heed to the voice of wisdom, because it’s far from their understanding.

For:

“The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent; They are like the deaf cobra that stops its ear, which will not heed the voice of charmers, Charming ever so skillfully.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭58:3-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Judgement is the only thing that is fitting for the wicked, and that’s exactly what he will get. He has refused the warning voices of the evangelists and the preachers that had been sent to him. He had rejected the voice of the charmers, who had been sent by the Lord so skillfully and convincingly.

The wicked has heard the voices of these skillful charmers but has not repented, because he loves wickedness and not righteousness.

That’s why it’s written that:

“He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, and he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

But however:

“The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In this coming judgement of the Lord on the wicked, there is supernatural protection for the righteous in it. The righteous man who has spoken justly to the wickedness around him will be protected.

But the righteous man who has seen wickedness and has refrained from warning the wicked about the impending judgement, will feel some weight of the judgement that’s coming upon the wicked also. He will feel the weight, but his righteousness will deliver him from the devastating effect of it.

However:

“The Lord will not allow the righteous to hunger [God will meet all his needs], But He will reject and cast away the craving of the wicked.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In this coming judgement of the Lord:

“No harm befalls the righteous, But the wicked are filled with trouble.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

And at the end of it all:

“It is God Who sits above the circle (the horizon) of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; it is He Who stretches out the heavens like [gauze] curtains and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in, who brings dignitaries to nothing, who makes the judges and rulers of the earth as chaos (emptiness, falsity, and futility).”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:22-23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

So therefore:

“The reputation of the righteous becomes a sweet memorial to him, while the wicked life only leaves a rotten stench. The heart of the wise will easily accept instruction. But those who do all the talking are too busy to listen and learn. They’ll just keep stumbling ahead into the mess they created. The one who walks in integrity will experience a fearless confidence in life, but the one who is devious will eventually be exposed. The troublemaker always has a clever plan and won’t look you in the eye, but the one who speaks correction honestly can be trusted to make peace. The teachings of the lovers of God are like living truth flowing from the fountain of life, but the words of the wicked hide an ulterior motive.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:7-11‬ ‭TPT‬‬
