Start Taking Your Position of Authority over the enemy now.

The moment when a born again child of God begins to forget, who he really is in Christ Jesus; that believer begins to set him or her self up for failure in life. In most cases when a Christian starts being negligent and complacent in using the power or authority, which God has given to him over the enemy; then the floodgates of hell will be opened up against that believer.
The Prophet Isaiah explained such a situation in this manner:
“Therefore my people will go into exile for lack of understanding; those of high rank will die of hunger and the common people will be parched with thirst. Therefore Death expands its jaws, opening wide its mouth; into it will descend their nobles and masses with all their brawlers and revelers. So people will be brought low and everyone humbled, the eyes of the arrogant humbled. But the LORD Almighty will be exalted by his justice, and the holy God will be proved holy by his righteous acts.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭5:13-16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is the reluctance of a Christian to use the authority, which he has in Christ Jesus, that has become the key which that Christian has handed to the devil in assaulting him. Hell uses that as an opportunity, to expand its territory in and around the life of such a believer. And many children of God are daily being dragged into hell, through the lies and deceptions of the evil one.
Satan uses the fear of the unknown, and the lack of spiritual understanding; which had been built up in the mind of such a believer, to come out against him or her. Especially often more costlier to that believer, is the refusal to renew his or her mind with God’s Word.
The mind is the battle ground of the devil against any believer in Christ. If he can succeed in making the believer, to buy into his lies and deceptions through the mind. He will then proceed in using fear, as his major weapon to cripple the faith of such a believer.
Our enemy only fears the believer in Christ, who can identify his spiritual position of authority over him. But he is even more dreadful of the believer in Christ, who is able to use that position of authority effectively against him.
The evil one does not want you to remember, who you are in Christ Jesus. He does not want you to be able to walk, in the reality of the truth of who you really are as a child of God.
He has often succeeded in using the fear of the unknown, to stifle out the faith of many believers in Christ. He often does this before that believer begins, to really grow in the knowledge of the truth in the word of God.
For example, a believer in Christ who is afraid of getting on an elevator, may actually be rendering his faith ineffective, because of the fear of being trapped in the elevator. Some people are afraid of heights. Satan reinforces that fear of height, or the fear of being trapped in the elevator, to cripple the faith of such a believer. He uses it to prevent him from receiving the blessings, that are linked with getting on an elevator by faith.
Due to this fear some have lost many opportunities, that were available to them by simply walking by faith. They have lost new jobs, business opportunities, relationships and many other things, that God wanted to use in blessing them. There is really nothing wrong or evil in using an elevator to move around. God gave the wisdom in creating it to the inventors. It is nice. But satan will always exploit anything created by God, against the faith of any believer.
Another example is a man who is afraid of getting on an airplane, because he is afraid that the airplane may crash in midair. The devil has often reinforces the fear of death in an air crash, to prevent many born again children of God, from fulfilling the Great Commission of the gospel to the end of the earth. An evangelist with a call to the nations, finds himself defeated through the fear of dying in an aircraft. Fear has held many away from their destinies in God.
Once satan can succeed in making a believer in Christ to stop living, walking and talking like the one who had been redeemed from the curse of the law; he knows that such a believer cannot be effectively in using the authority, that has been given to him or her in Christ Jesus.

DEVELOP YOUR SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

This is one main reason why it is very important for us to always stir up our spirit man. When we stir up the spirit man inside us, by praying in the spirit daily, our faith is being built up to walk in God’s blessing (Jude 20-21).
The spirit man is where our power source is located at. God will never make any more power available again, apart what He has given to us already in Christ Jesus. He has given us all the power that we need to defeat the enemy. It is rather strange for believers in Christ to be praying to God for more power. We do have the power already available within us. Where else will God be able to get more power from, when He (Himself) lives inside of us by His Holy Spirit?
Paul wrote:
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NIV‬‬
That power is already at work within us, from the very moment when we choose to walk by faith, by praying in the spirit. The activation of the law of faith is the key to unlocking all of the abundance of that power in its fullest manifestation.
So what we need to start doing, is to stop praying for more power. But we really do need to start using the authority that has been given to us already by faith.
Therefore stop praying that God will send someone, from somewhere else to lay hands on you, so as to help you in stirring up the power source that is already inside of you. If you can’t learn to encourage yourself in the Lord, then no one else can ever be able to do it. You are the only one that can change your own world, by using what God has already given you.
As a believer in Christ Jesus you must stop wishing for some special anointing, from someone else to help you in the good fight of faith. No, you don’t ever want someone else’s anointing. That’s spiritually dangerous to you, because you are really wishing to be in another person’s shoes. God will not give you what belongs to another believer in His name. He can only give you what belongs to you.
That’s why you must start walking by faith to discover, what God has available for you. As soon as you start doing this, your spiritual eyes of understanding will be opened to recognize, and to start taking hold of what is yours in Christ Jesus.
Wishful thinking for what is not your own, will kill the faith of God in you. Hook up with the knowledge of God through His written word, and faith will come into your heart. You will stop wishing that you may get blessed some day. But you will rather start walking in the blessing itself by faith.
That’s what Abraham did to walk in the blessing. He was not wishing to be blessed some day. No, by faith Abraham saw himself in the blessing of God.
The Bible says:
“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:20-22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

So stop complaining and whining. Let the law of faith begins to work for you. You must desire to start walking in what God has designed for your life. You can’t carry what God has specifically prepared others to go through in life. It’s meant for them and not for you. What is yours is yours! Take it and start walking and living in it.

HELPING YOURSELF

God has given each one of us everything that we need, to take care of every situation in our lives. There is no problem that is in front of you right now, that you do not have the capacity to go through. Stop trying to be in other people’s shoes. Be authentic. Be real to yourself, just as God is real to you. Don’t follow the examples of others, but Jesus alone. Jesus is the perfect example for any believer to follow.
He once declared:
“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:8-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬
There are so many believers in Christ today, who are unable to walk in the authority that has been given to them; because they are living their Christian life off of other believers. They often will rather rely on the faith of other believers to pray for them. Somehow some of them do want others to be doing their believing for them.
And the truth is that most of them do also have a faulty sense of humility, before those they are actually referring to as spiritual Fathers. Many of them are never spiritually humbled at heart. That’s what dead religion is doing to the people of faith today. Be very careful with Christians, who will often refer to you as their spiritual father. I have learnt from the Christian life experience, to always move away from such people. They are faithless people. All they want is a free ride on your faith into what belongs to them. But real and authentic blessing does not come like that. You’ve got to start believing God for what is actually your own, and be single minded about it, trusting in God alone and not in man or this corrupt world system.
The Scriptures gives us clear guidance in dealing with one another, within the Kingdom of God. It also gives us clear guidance on how to deal with the devil. We don’t need some special revelations on how to deal with the devil. Jesus said we should just use the authority, that had been given to us in His name to deal with him.
This is one reason why some are living their Christian lives off of other believers. God never designed that path for anyone in His Kingdom. His path is for us to depend on Him alone. He is the One who gave us of His Spirit, and not some Preacher from “lala land” or some far away country.
Get into God’s word, where all faith comes from. Be real and authentic with Him. You will surely see Him surprise you, as soon as the law of faith gets into motion in your life.
We’ve got to start using what has been deposited in us, when we first believed.

RELEASE THE RIVER OF GOD IN YOU

The Psalmist says once said:
“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭46:4-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
The river of God is the stream from the heart of the believer in Christ. Jesus Christ lives and reigns in that heart. When we begin to walk in the realization of the fact that God lives in us, nothing or no one can stop us from achieving the goals that God has set before us. God lives inside of us by His Spirit in us.
Our job is to start using the abilities and potentials inside of us, by the Spirit of God, Who lives in us. We can do this by developing our spirit man. The spirit man is where God lives inside of us. By developing the spirit man we will become more sensitive, in listening to hear the voice of God by His Spirit inside of us.
Jesus said:
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:13-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬
The Holy Spirit is always there to help us in developing our spirit man, as we learn to listen to Him. We are able to recognize His voice inside us, because His voice will only speak what glorifies God to us.
We therefore must be prepared always to stir up the power source of God inside of us by the Holy Spirit living inside our spirit man. We stir up the power source in us, by praying more in the spirit and by the Holy Spirit always.
Paul once said to Timothy:
“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The Spirit of God inside of us, is of love and God is love. It is the love of God in us, that eventually gets matured, in casting out fear and timidity out of our lives.
The law of faith casts out the spirit of fear of anything in your life. You are a believer. You are not a doubter. You live your life from the power source of God inside of you by faith. Fear is of the devil, and you are not of the devil. You live by the Spirit of Grace.
Paul wrote again:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭4:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We are able to love in casting out the spirit of fear, because God first initiated the love walk in us, by first loving us. He demonstrated His love for us, by sending His only Son to die and rescue us from the power of sin and death.
Begin today by walking in what 2018 has in store for you. Destiny is about to match up with you. You have God’s faith in you to do anything. Nothing is impossible for you in 2018. So start speaking it now, and put the law of faith in motion, for your real and authentic blessing in 2018.
You will not take another man’s blessing. You will take from God what is genuinely yours. It has your name on it. Take it by faith from God and start enjoying the blessing. Stop enduring the blessing.
