Healing is always flowing from the stripes on the Body of Jesus Christ. And to be precise His stripes has never lost the power and the flow in it. Not even for any moment in time.
It’s often the person who is in need of healing, that has always been struggling to tap into the flow of Christ’s healing power. And oftentimes it’s due to the lack of understanding about God’s pathway to our healing.
The power in the stripes of Jesus is strong, but your faith needs to be activated so as to be able to tap into it. God’s Way of healing His people has never changed. Jesus Christ is still the same and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
That’s why it’s important to comprehend the revelation of the stripes in His Body. This calls for the ability of the believer in Christ Jesus to be able to properly discern His Body.
The Apostle Paul reiterated this point while exhorting us as we partake of the Holy Communion, with this statement:
“For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason, many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.”
I Corinthians 11:29-30 NKJV
A Christian who is not living right with God may partake of the Holy Communion in an unworthy manner, while putting himself in danger of falling sick. He is not able to properly discern the Body of Christ, because of his unrighteous lifestyle.
Sicknesses and diseases are not far from such a person. He is trending on a dangerous ground, and he may even loose his life as a result of this.
The devil knows those who are partaking of the Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. He singles them out for attacks with sicknesses and diseases that are life threatening.
You can’t be living purposely in sin and still partake of Christ’s Body and Blood in Holy Communion. The Bible says:
“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.”
I Corinthians 10:21 NKJV
It’s impossible to partake of the Lord’s table while fellowshipping in iniquity. Those who can’t see the difference concerning this, while trying to please themselves and the world are often falling sick.
The devil is afflicting them with all kinds of sicknesses, for daring to fellowship with him, while they are also fellowshipping with the people of God.
You can’t call yourself a child of God, and at the same time be a partaker of the cup or the works of the devil.
People who do such things are not properly discerning the Body and the Blood of Jesus Christ. Many of them are often struggling with long term sicknesses and diseases, because they are not fully committed to following the Lord.
The result is that such people can’t even understand, the depth of the grace that’s available for them in the stripes of Jesus Christ. They are therefore not able to live life to the fullest and to stay in good health.
Being able to properly discern the Body of Christ, calls for an understanding of who you are as a child of God; so that you won’t be falling for every little trick of the devil to make you sick. The devil is full of all types of lies and deceptions to make you sick.
Don’t buy into his lies. Don’t deceive yourself thinking that it’s okay to partake in the cup of demons for a season, while in fact you are trampling on the Blood that had set you apart for His glory (Hebrews 10:26-29).
Learn to properly discern the Body and the Blood of Jesus Christ at all times.
Many have died because they can’t get a hold of everything, that Jesus did for them on the cross at Calvary.
It’s a mystery that has become too hard for them to understand, even though it is so simple. They are indeed complicating the perfect work, which Christ Jesus had accomplished for them on the cross at Calvary.
No matter how hard you try to understand it, the devil will do everything possible for you, not to be able to properly discern Christ’s Body and Blood.
His aim is to distort the truth about it from being understood. You have to make up your mind not to allow him to lie about it to you. You have to be determined not to listen to anything that he is saying at all times.
You are the Body of Christ.
The Bible says that:
“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
I Corinthians 12:27 NKJV
And if you recognize that you’re Christ’s Body, then you are not supposed to be sick, because Christ has no sickness in His Body.
The devil will lie to you, so that you will start believing in his lies, with the aim of making you sick. He will afflict you physically, because he wants you to believe in what, he is doing to make you sick; instead of you focusing on the Body of Christ whose you are.
Don’t take heed to his lies. Fight the good fight of faith. Resist the devil and his lies with everything in you. And eventually you will experience His resurrected life springing forth, with strength and power in you while bringing you healing and good health.
The ability of the believer in Christ Jesus to be able to discern the body of Christ, is crucial to receiving healing.
The Prophet Isaiah helped us in understanding this, when he said:
“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
This is the true discernment of Christ’s Body as He hung on the cross, while taking your place on it so that you may be healed.
Get a comprehension of the image of Christ as depicted here by Isaiah. Your ability to catch the revelation of what He did on the cross for you, in the illustrated image above by the Prophet Isaiah will set you free eternally from sicknesses and diseases.
You must be able to rightly discern His Body. Jesus took your place on the cross, so that you won’t have to suffer in pain with sicknesses and diseases. Those pains, sicknesses and diseases were laid upon Him on that cross.
The simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ with the power in it, were well illustrated here by the Prophet Isaiah. It’s so simple to the extent that the devil will have to help you not to understand it.
And that is what he is doing to frustrate the faith of many Christians today. He is hindering them from being able to rightly discern the Body of Christ.
Instead of seeing Christ taking their pain and suffering, they are seeing themselves struggling to overcome the pain and suffering in their lives.
But it’s the simplicity of this illustration by the Prophet Isaiah, that has become so strange to the complicated world. The world can’t understand why Jesus had to take their place on the cross.
They see it as an act of injustice to an innocent man. It’s not something that is part of their belief system, to have someone else suffer in place of another. That’s why it’s so hard for them to believe in the gospel truth.
But it’s in this simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that God had prepared a remedy for the problems of our world today.
There is healing power available for our sick world today in the stripes of Jesus Christ.
Yes, there was nothing attractive in the Body of Jesus Christ, as He hung on that cross while being rendered without power and help from above.
Yes, God and the angelic beings had to turn their back on him for a while, because of the sins that He was carrying upon Himself.
But it’s eventually in His Body as it’s being devoid God’s glory, that God’s power was revealed to bring us salvation, healing and deliverance.
Wisdom in the foolishness of the gospel.
The Bible says:
“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. … Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
I Corinthians 1:21, 25 NKJV
The world will call you a fool for believing in the Bible and in Jesus Christ. It makes no sense to them at all.
And that’s why many of them will often treat the testimony of Jesus as a fairy tale.
And to many of them Jesus was just another powerful historical figure, who is no longer with us like their other historical figures. The understanding of the wisdom or the mystery of God in Christ Jesus is not clear to them at all.
That’s why they can’t believe in His stripes to heal them. To them it’s easier to believe medical science, because it’s relevant to their natural world. The things of God are of the supernatural world, which they can’t bring themselves into understanding.
But for you as a believer in Christ Jesus you are able to bring the supernatural into the natural world, by believing with your heart and confessing what you believe with your mouth. It’s something that is strange to the unbelieving world.
The world can’t see the resurrected Body of Christ as being real or powerful. They can never discern it while they see you partaking of it in Holy Communion.
This is pathetic because certain Christians do believe this also.
But you are the one to whom God has entrusted with the ability, to make His supernatural world natural to the unbelieving world.
Christianity to the unsaved world is not different from the relics of the other dead religions of this world. They see no life in Christ Jesus.
They are lost and in need of the Savior who they have rejected.
However, they can’t understand that they really need Him to save them. But you as a born-again child of God can change all of that for them.
The Apostle Paul said:
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—”
I Corinthians 1:27-30 NKJV
The only solution to the problems of the world today is in the name of Jesus. That’s why we proclaim Him as Lord always. The power in the name of Jesus Christ is manifested through the declaration of the gospel.
Healing flows by living Christ’s resurrected life.
Wherever the gospel is being preached about His crucifixion and resurrection, the power of God is always available to do wonders.
And at the same time the power of the darkness of this world trembles in fear and terror of Him, as you proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ over the earth.
Our healing and restoration to good health is in His name. The Bible says:
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
Romans 8:11 NKJV
This is why we are celebrating His resurrection. It has absolutely nothing to do with candies, bunnies and eggs as some people have made it to be.
Christ the Healer is alive. And faith in His name will cause His Spirit to quicken your body to get healed. The Bible says:
“Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV
That’s the miracle of healing that faith in His name can bring to your body.
It’s even a plus for you to get filled with the Holy Spirit, after receiving this revelation about the healing power in His name. It will make absolutely nothing impossible for you.
Jesus had proclaimed His own resurrection before it ever happened, when He said to Martha (the sister of Lazarus):
“ .. I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-26 NKJV
Do you believe that He is alive today? Do you believe that He will be back on the earth again? Do you believe in His word to heal and deliver you right now?
Many are dying daily all over the world; even though:
“He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.”
Psalms 107:20 NKJV
It is not everybody who is sick today, that is able to discern how powerful the word of God is to heal them. But it’s in the declaration of His word that your salvation, healing and deliverance are guaranteed.
That’s why you need to be proclaiming your redemption from sicknesses and diseases now. As the Bible says:
“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,”
Psalms 107:2 NKJV
You are redeemed. You are healed and delivered from this world of evil. Whatever you need to be able to stand strong has been provided in His word.
Keep up the good fight of faith. Don’t let the devil or the world lie to you about your redemption. You are who the Bible says you are – healed and delivered in His name. Amen!
