God will do glorious and wonderful things for anyone, who will dare to walk in the reality of the knowledge of His love.
When you acknowledge that God loves you just as much as He loves Jesus, He will begin to move in your life with amazing miracles to affirm that love.
When you begin to press into the revelation of His love for you, something will start shifting on the inside of you. This is the moment that you will need to constantly be renewing your mind, with the knowledge of His love.
You see your enemy always wants you to believe that God does not really love you. And that’s just the way the devil is. He will tell you lies all the time, and he will do many things around your life, so as to deceive you from believing in God’s love for you.
But as God’s child you’ll need to be renewing your mind daily, by meditating on the inner reflection of His love from the mirror of His Word on the inside of you.
This is how your heart will be better positioned, to be filled with His promises for your specific situations in life. You’ll become unshaken and unmovable in the knowledge of His love, on the basis of His promises to you.
You’ll then need to be declaring those promises of God with your mouth, as you keep holding on to the truth of His love for you.
By doing this you can take your stand of faith before God, in receiving anything from His presence.
Healing is yours to receive now!
There are many believers in Jesus Christ today, who (as an example) do not know how to stand by faith on the promises of God for their healing.
They are deeply rooted in the circumstantial evidence of their lives with the sicknesses and illnesses from Satan. This has created the fear of the devil in their lives, instead of faith in God for their healing.
They are struggling daily to grasp the realities of what belongs to them in Christ Jesus. They will often claim to believe in the promises of God for their healing.
But in reality, they are more focused on the sickness itself, than on the provisions of God for their healing. They’re struggling to receive all that Christ had provided and given them.
Their prayer lives is not fruitful, due to their inability to receive what Christ had provided for them.
When they are praying, they somehow think that they have to keep on asking God for healing several times, before their faith can begin working to manifest it.
They remind one of the words of the Prophet Elijah to the fake prophets of Baal, when they cried and shouted before their dead god.
The scriptures say:
“At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely, he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” So, they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.”
1 Kings 18:27-29 NIV
Evidently the living and loving God of heaven and earth does not require any self-accentuations from us, in order for us to get His attention.
These Christians think that their empty repetitions over and over again, will move God to be compassionate towards them.
This is actually what the form of any dead religion does to the people of faith. This type of action makes one to wonder, if it is really hard for God to hear them.
Some will even go as far as fasting, while they are repeatedly saying the same words before God. They think that fasting will make them holy and acceptable before God.
It is common to observe them, praying as if they are begging God for healing. They are begging God to give them the healing, that had already been provided for them by the stripes of Jesus.
They keep on saying repeatedly things like: “Please, heal me. This pain is getting too much for me to bear.” Or: “I am dying, please help me God.”
But the Bible reveals clearly to us how easy it is for us to touch the heart of God. It says:
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
What does it take to be an earnest seeker of God? This means that we must be purposefully diligent and resolute in seeking to know God’s will concerning the situation for which we are seeking Him for.
It is rather strange then when people want you, to pray for them to be healed; whereas they are not really interested in seeking to know the will of God for their lives on healing.
They are not interested in studying the scriptures while they’re seeking to know God perfect will. That’s too much work for them.
Some even believe that the studying of the holy scriptures, should be left only for the Ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ to be doing.
Our faith in God is the sole prerequisite for Him to heal us. Everywhere in the four narratives of the gospel, we will always see Jesus asking people, if they do believe that He could heal them before healing them.
Jesus did this because He wanted to know, if they have the proper foundation of faith in God to be healed before healing people.
Our prayers please God when it is mixed with faith in His promises for healing. And faith works for us to receive healing through love (see Galatians 5:6).
When we do know that God loves us, it then becomes easier for our faith to work for us.
People may beg and cry before God for healing, because they don’t have an understanding of the power of His love in their lives. If we do have faith in the love of God to heal us, the rest is pretty much easier to receive from Him.
We need to acknowledge that God is full of compassion, mercies and goodness. He is Love! And because He is Love, we know that it is never in His nature to see us suffer for anything in life – including sicknesses.
The scriptures say:
“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
Romans 8:32 NKJV
Healing and divine health are some of the things, which had been freely given to us to enjoy as God’s children.
If we can’t believe that God loves us just as much as He loves Jesus (John 17:23); even in those sickening and painful situations, we will be unable to tap into the healing that had been freely given to us.
And that’s pretty much why many do struggle, while begging before God to be healed.
So why not just stop crying and begging God for what He has freely given.
Receive your healing now by faith, rejoicing before God for all that Jesus had done for you.
Yes, rejoice for your ability to rejoice has nothing to do with what has afflicted you. This will pass away as you release your faith for healing.
The scriptures say again:
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”
3 John 1:2 AMPC
Apparently, it is God’s will for us to be physically healthy. We are loved of God, and that simply explains why He yearns and longs to see us healed.
God who is Love desires to see all of His children healed and healthy. Jesus called healing “the children’s bread” (Mark 7:27).
We may ask God to heal us, but the way we ask Him for it is by faith with boldness. Boldness has nothing to do with begging and crying.
We must be bold before our Heavenly Father in order to receive from Him everything, that has been freely given to us.
God loves it when we come to Him boldly and with an open heart, to ask Him for anything in prayers (Hebrews 4:16).
He knows about every pain and affliction of your body. He knows that the devil uses them to distract you, from the truth in the power of His love in order to heal you.
God is never moved by what the devil is doing, to distract you from His promises of healing. But He does expect you to do something in dealing with the enemy, by using your authority in the name of Jesus to stand up against the devil.
Begging and crying does not make the devil flee away from you. Such acts are rather empowering him to go forcefully against you.
The only thing that the devil understands, is the use of your authority in the name of Jesus against him.
Begging and crying does not move God to be compassionate towards anyone. It does nothing to impress Him at all either, in showing Him that you are humbled before Him.
Just because someone is crying and begging you for anything, doesn’t necessarily mean that the person is humbled.
Just as Jesus said, healing is the “children’s bread”. We don’t need to beg God for what rightly belongs to us as His children.
We just need to go before Him boldly, asking for it and we receive it by faith, because we know that we are loved by Him.
Why then do people cry and beg to take what rightly belongs to them from God? By begging and crying they are actually telling Him, that they don’t have faith in His promises and provisions to heal them.
And in certain cases, it is their lack of the knowledge in the understanding of what has been freely provided for them by the stripes of Jesus, that’s making them to act in such a manner.
The Christians who are stronger in faith needs to be helping people like these, who are ignorant about what rightly belongs to them in Christ Jesus. They obviously need to be strong in faith also.
Paul admonished us to:
“Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.”
Romans 14:1 NIV
The only way we can help them is by admonishing them to be strong in faith.
We however do have to firstly correct their wrong views concerning divine healing. We do this biblically and with God’s love, through sound teachings and preaching about healing.
The gospel must be preached in the demonstration of the power of the Kingdom of God.
You do this because you do know that faith comes to them, through the word of God that is thoughtfully, carefully and prayerfully being studied and taught with practical application to their real-life situations.
The word of God does nothing to give us faith, if it is not being practically applied to real life situations.
Take your healing now!
One of God’s provisions for healing says:
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.”
I Peter 2:24 NKJV
Healing had been provided for us. We are not the sick who are trying to get healed. We are already healed, and the devil is the one trying to put sickness on us.
We need to be carefully meditating on this provision for divine healing. You may be thinking that you do know what it says. But God really expects you to go back into His provisions and begin to ponder through meditation, on what Jesus did for us on the cross at Calvary.
Let His Word sink deeply into your heart. Don’t just assume that you do know the scriptures for your healing, without taking time out to meditate on them over and over again.
The Lord God gives new revelations from His word, every time we are making the concise efforts to study it. We are to be meditating on His promises day and night (Joshua 1:8).
Yes, you may be in pain right now, but that’s the sacrifice you are making, while you are meditating on God’s promises for your healing and renewing your mind with them (Romans 12:1-2).
This is a process that all believers in Christ Jesus need to go through on a regular basis. You will have to do it always because the devil never stops working on your thought life, so as to make sure that you are weak in faith.
Our God never sleeps nor slumber (Psalms 121:3-4); because He loves us.
The devil never slumbers nor sleep either, because he hates us. He is seriously working around the clock to destroy you.
That’s why faith must always come by the written word of God and the preaching of the living word of God (Romans 10:17).
We need our faith to grow continually, so as to stay healed and healthy in the body.
The scripture text quoted above says it clearly, that “we were healed” by the stripes of Jesus.
By taking our stance of faith for healing, we’re telling the devil to get his hands off our bodies. We are telling him that we are rejecting his sickness, and that he needs to take it away from us completely, not when the doctor says so, but right now.
Since faith is now, our stance for healing also ought to be now. If you are not standing by faith right now, you will never be able to stand at all.
Jesus demonstrated how our faith works for healing, in the same manner that His own faith worked for Him in cursing the fig tree.
The same faith that works for us to bless, is the same faith that also works in cursing.
And that’s why we must be very careful with our choices of words. God is listening, the devil is listening, and the angels of God are also on full alert, to bring whatever we are saying into manifestation.
Even the witches and wizards do know this spiritual law. They do believe in it whenever they are casting out their spells upon people.
That’s why they terribly fear the knowledge of the truth from God’s word in your life. They know that you have the knowledge of the word of the truth to make you free in your life.
The application of this revelation can always reverse all of their words at any time and on any day. You are very dangerous to them. They do know who you are, and they are terribly afraid of you.
The scriptures say about Jesus while using His faith:
“Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it…
…In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
Mark 11:13-14, 20-25 NIV
When Jesus cursed the tree, He just walked away from it, without doubting or wondering if His spoken words would come to pass.
He knew that the tree was dead, the moment that He said those words. The spiritual law of faith was put into motion when Jesus spoke those words: “May no one ever eat fruit from you again”.
Jesus released His faith with those spoken words just once. He never repeated those words again.
It is not the number of times or how long you’d prayed, that causes your faith to be released. This does not affect your ability to receive anything from God either. Faith is of the heart. You believe and receive with your heart.
When you are repeating the same words over and over again, even the devil knows that those repetitions are coming from your head, and not from your heart.
It is with words that we bless people. And it is with words that the people of the unsaved world curse also.
Our words for healing must always come from the heart, which is full of faith. A wavering or doubtful heart will repeat the same words in prayer over and over again.
Doubt is of the devil. Your enemy will make you struggle with doubt and unbelief, because he wants to see you sick and not healed. He knows that when you are standing on the promises of God, he cannot succeed against you.
We therefore need to be careful about our choices of words concerning our health. We need to be speaking divine healing and health to the body.
The human body has no choice, but to fall in line with your spoken words of healing, which comes by speaking firmly and purposefully from a believing heart.
We can’t be speaking divine health, while wondering if our words will come to pass.
That’s not what Jesus said above. He said we “shall have what we say”. Jesus never said: “we shall have what we keep on saying”.
That’s not faith, but evidence of wavering to believe and receive healing with the heart.
After we’ve asked God for healing, God does expect us to take our stance on His promises for healing by faith.
But in order to take our stance we must understand that it’s easier for us to believe God for anything and receive it; when we are able to grasp the reality of the truth in His promises, whilst believing that He loves us.
It is easier to believe God for healing, when we know that He loves us.
Our faith works through love in this way for the healing of our bodies. We can’t be taking our stance of faith for healing, when our love walk is not good. Faith is dead without love.
As Christians we therefore need to learn how-to live-in forgiveness always. If you can’t be quick to forgive people, you are hindering your healing process.
We forgive others just as God forgave us in Christ Jesus. Believing God for anything is a faith building and love walk process. We build up our faith into receiving what we are believing in God for.
Our understanding of the power of His love inside of us, is the foundation for our faith in receiving anything from God. Believing in His love helps us to lay a strong foundation in the faith process.
The way we build up our faith and love walk in the process, is by meditating on His promises concerning, what we are believing in Him for day and night.
This is how we meditate on God’s promises, while building up our faith to receive from God other miracles also apart from healing.
If you can’t meditate on the promises of God every day and every night, then you will never be able to take a stance on what you are believing in Him for.
This process of building up your faith continues and progresses, until you will begin to see changes manifesting concerning what you are taking your stance on.
Oftentimes believers do confuse their ability to meditate on the promises of God over and over again, with their confession of faith in prayer so as to receive the answer.
Meditating on God’s promises helps us to renew the mind, and it blocks out every evidence of wavering and doubtful thoughts.
This also helps us to lay a strong foundation of faith for healing in the heart. When faith has come, the prayer of faith is easier to be said with the mouth, because the words of confession in prayer comes from the heart and not from the head.
Watch out for the evil one!
We need to understand that the devil works through the mind also. He works through the process of building up his lies and deceits, in the minds of those who are entertaining his words to them through their thoughts.
When sickness comes (as an example) in attacking people, it begins as a gradual process until people get really sick to the point of death.
That’s why we don’t need to wait until the enemy attacks, before taking our stance against him.
We take our stance as a way of life, so that before the initial symptoms of the sickness shows up, we are proclaiming our stance against the devil.
He will always sneak his lies into your mind to make you waver in your faith and love stance. But that’s why you must be resolute and ready, to go on the offense against him (Ephesians 4:27).
You can’t win against the devil, if you are always being defensive. You’ve got to be bold, resolute, aggressive and offensive against him.
That’s how the violence takes the Kingdom of God by force against him (Matthew 11:12).
Your enemy will never leave you without a fight. So, fight the good fight of faith. You are an overcomer!
When you are speaking words of doubt and unbelief, you are indeed terminating the process of building up of your faith in the promises of God for healing.
This is what disconnects many from their power source – God. It is what stalls our faith and love walk before God.
But we can always connect back to God again, by going into His promises again, while believing and walking in the revelation of the truth that He loves us.
This is the good news for us, that the lies and the deceptions of the devil can always be terminated at any time, as soon as we are able to detect his tricks against us.
Even a person who is sick to the point of death can be transformed through the process of meditation on God’s promises to be healed. He will just need to believe in the promises of God again, as he begins to take a stance on those promises.
Taking a stance is the posture in our positioning to stand up, against the lies of the devil to make us sick.
If you can’t take a stance against Satan and his lies, you can’t stand up against him.
So, take your stance today. Start letting your enemy know what you believe about your body and health.
Don’t wait for tomorrow before beginning. Procrastination is the enemy that may stop you from taking your stance. Do it right now. You are healed in Jesus’ name! Amen!
