We do live in a world today, where many are putting the words of men above that of God. The corrupt and evil world in which we do live, will rather honor the words of men and sing praises to them, rather than to honor the word of the Most High God. Political correctness has eaten far too deep into the various facets of all societies on earth today. It has alienated even many believers in Christ, far away from the life of the Spirit in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2).
It is even more appalling to note that, many who do claim to be believers in Christ, have been deceived into following this godless and evil crowd of the unsaved world. They are putting their faith in the words of the misguided political correctness of this evil generation.
Jesus warned us about this while explaining to us, what the signs of His coming will be like. He said:

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,…
…Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:9-10, 12-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Note the words of Jesus above; “you will be hated by all nations because of me” and “many will turn away from the faith”. Political correctness in the world today is a satanic plot, that is designed from hell to deceive and sway the hearts of the believers away from their first love for Jesus. It is a plot that is meant to sway them away from biblical faith in God, into a humanistic form of worship as a substitute for real Bible faith Christianity.
The downward side effect of this satanic plot according to Jesus, is to make the “love of most” believers in Christ to “grow” cold. The devil fears any Christian with a passion and fiery love for God, he is using political correctness in and around the world of that believer to make him or her grow cold towards the things of God. Those whose love for God has become cold have been misguided, into receiving and believing in the lies of the devil for the truth. They have rejected the truth of the word of God which saved them, for a satanic lie in the delusions of their minds.
As Paul said concerning them:

“For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:21-25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is the delusion in the lost world of these backsliding Christians today. The spirit inside of them has become more akin to the law of sin and death, rather than to the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus their Savior. These ones have sold their birthrights as the children of God, for “a plate of socio-political correctness” just as Esau did (see Hebrews 12:14-17). Humanism and not Christianity has become the religion of these ones, who have bought into these lies of the devil. But alas, even most of these doctrines of humanism and political correctness has crept into a Church congregation around you. As Jesus had already warned; “WATCH OUT!”

BUT GOD’S WORD IS FAITHFUL

But in the midst of the confusions and misguidedness in the souls of these ones, God’s word still gives us the beacon of hope for eternity. As a born again Christian you don’t need to ever be politically correct, so as to please this godless and reckless crowd. God’s word speaks for itself on your behalf. If the anchor of your salvation is the word of God, keep holding on to it with all your heart. Your redemption is closer than ever before.  And you don’t need to appease this crowd either, for you owe no one any apology for choosing to live by the word of God and for Him alone.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego once told the politically correct and self-righteous King of Babylon during their time in exile; as they were being manipulated to be politically correct in their world:

…, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

These three men would rather be burnt in fire, than bow down to the political correctness or the political “set up” of their time. At the end of it all, the God that they continually worshiped justified and delivered them.
Are you experiencing the same type of pressures like the three Hebrew children today? You don’t need to defend or fight for your God. God is able to fight for Himself. He sees everything that they are doing, and He is just being loving and longsuffering. He’s not interested in the death of the sinners; but He’s leaving the door open for their repentance. And He will fight for you. He wins always and will be justified whenever He fights. And we do know that whenever He fights, He is justified in His judgment on the evil and godless crowd. And His judgment is always right. All that you are called to do during this period, is to keep your faith stronger than ever before in the promises of God to you. And it is your greatest opportunity to preach the good news, without apology to anyone. By doing this you are guiding your own salvation. And be prayerful at all times; because your enemy is watching you. As Jesus said; “watch and pray”!
Remember that Jesus also said:

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You see the words of the philosophers and men of this world in their political correctness, can never be able to outlive the word of God. God’s word speaks always for God. His word is clear, straightforward, clean, pure and self-explanatory. And long after the words and the bones of these men must have gotten rotten in their graves, God’s word will still be speaking with power, to fulfill the assignment that it has been sent out to fulfill (see Isaiah 55:8-11).
That’s why as a believer in Christ, you don’t ever argue the gospel with them. We are called to preach and declare the gospel. The devil does not ever like the declaration, proclamation or the preaching of the gospel. He fears it so much, because he knows that in it and through it is the power of God made manifested (Romans 1:16).
Paul said:

“For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe…
…For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:17-21, 25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That’s why this ungodly and wicked crowd will try always to silence your voice. They are working for their master (the devil); and very soon they will all be put to shame. They do have a choice now to turn back from their pathway of destruction, to the pathway of Salvation. They can either believe in the gospel, or they may just decide to leave and ignore it. But God’s word is able to fight for God, because God’s word is God (Himself). When Jesus returns He will judge them all by the power of His word (Revelations 19:15).
Paul said about the power in the word of God to save the sinner:

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God’s word is more powerful than any human weapon of destruction on earth today. His word does not work in its operations like the weapons of this world. His word is over and above all of these. The power of His Love and His word works in such a manner that is beyond human comprehension.
But we need to remember that the very word of God, which is being preached and proclaimed by believers all over the earth today, is the power of God in action as it is being released, to judge the ungodliness of this world on the very last day. God’s word by itself is able to judge those who have rejected it.
As Jesus said again:

… “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:44-50‬ ‭NKJV

GOD’S WORD IS FOREVER

God’s word is stronger and able to stand for itself in defending Him, because His word is truth.
The Psalmist declared concerning God’s word:

“Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:89‬ ‭NASB‬‬

This means that the word of God by itself always reveals its character to us. It is “forever” – that means it is eternal and not temporary. It does not change with fashions or the events of history, social media or the fun seekers of this world, who are fading away.
Neither does it change with their attitudes and thoughts. God’s Word is FOREVER. It is an eternal Word. God will do exactly what He has promised in His word to us. The heavens and the power of His love are His guarantee for us in experiencing, what He has promised.
God’s Word is settled in the heavens and on earth, right in the heart of those who will dare to believe in it.
Men will rather want you to believe that, God’s word is not real or is not right. But that’s not true.
About the infallibility of God’s word, the prophet Isaiah declared by the Spirit of God:

“Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭46:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These are not the words of a man, but God’s Word – who does not and can never lie (Numbers 23:19). God’s Word never started or originates from men. Men had tried several times to misinterpret it into suiting their own agendas, but they have always failed. The opinions of men does not ever matter concerning the word of God, because God’s word always speaks for itself on behalf of God.
That is the greatest part in guaranteeing that His Word is sure. In fact, after all men’s words must have been tested, exterminated and destroyed; God’s Word that is eternally settled in the heavens will still be standing strong in our lives.
Paul told the Church in Rome about the power of God’s word working through us:

“What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“AND THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED”…

Every word of God that is declared as delivered to us, will be confirmed and be proved right by Him as we act on what it says. God is faithful and His word is as faithful as He is.
The Psalmist declared once again:

“I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It is the God of love only, who is worthy of our worship. But God has also magnified His word above His name, because His word reflects who He is to us better than His name. Every declared Word of God as presented to us in the Bible had stood the test of time, persecutions and trials before; and it has always prevailed. Every promises in His Word today are still prevailing over the opinions or viewpoints of scientists, judges, politicians or journalists. God, His love and His Word is FOREVER!
God’s Word to us is the revelation of His love and His personality. God’s Word reveals – His ways, His love, His thoughts, His attitudes, His purposes and His laws to us. Though we humans (Preachers) are the channels of these revelations about God, but the source is always God, who does not ever change.
Dear Preacher, that’s how we recognize that Christians do not grow up spiritually, by feeding them all the time with the “spiritual milk” of God’s word. Neither do you grow up spiritually by feeding on what your itchy ears wants to hear, or with what the church pollsters says that your churchgoers wants to hear. No, Christians grow up into spiritual maturity, when the Holy Spirit begins to lead us through the revelations on our inner man, into what God wants His children to be fed with from His written Word.
We can always receive directions and instructions on how to prepare, a spiritually healthy food directly from God, so as to raise up spiritually healthy children for Him. God alone has the recipe for spiritual growth. The social viewpoints, psychologist, philosophers and sociologists don’t have it. God alone knows what is best for His children. He alone knows what is best to feed them with. So get hooked up with God before feeding His flock.
We therefore do have to always listen to hear from Him, and not listen to the opinions of men in knowing what God has in store for His children, as they are being spiritually imparted. That’s how growth comes into the body of Christ – by the word of God which is settled for evermore.
The bible says:

“Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God’s Word that is being preached is already settled or finalized in the heavens. That means no event on earth can change it. It is not subject to the decrees or laws of kings, queens, presidents or prime ministers; nor the opinions of politicians or the violence of the men of this evil world or the courts. God’s Word is out of reach to be influenced by all those evil forces, that are all persecuting His Church today. God’s Word is settled forever in the heavens.
That’s why we love His word and esteem it above the words of men.

IF YOU LOVE GOD, YOU WILL LOVE HIS WORD

Jesus once told a man about the greatest commandment:

…”You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:37-39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Loving God with our spirit, soul and body is impossible without the help of His word and the Holy Spirit in our lives. In these last days before the return of the Lord, we have to love God more by loving His word. The love of many is already cold towards God, and you can’t afford to join them and miss out of eternity with God.
The application of His word in our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit, is what helps us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to God. We do this so as to live daily in denying our bodies of all the temptations, that the enemy uses to attack God’s love in us.
This is how we are able to sustain our soundness of mind, as we renew our mind daily with His written word. The scriptures guides our heart against the enemy, so that God’s glory may be manifested through our lives.
But our love walk for God is never complete, without our ability to walk in forgiveness always. Forgiveness is the ultimate act of love. It is the ultimate act of God’s love in a Christian and the Christian’s love to the world. God loves us so much that He overlooked all of our sins and mistakes in life to forgive us them all. He gave us Jesus for this very reason. There is no greater love than this, that Jesus died for all of your sins. That’s the greatest act of forgiveness. Forgiving people is loving people.
When the love of God through His word flows into your world as you forgive people, things begins to change in your life. People will change when we learn to forgive them. And you will be changed also to love God more.
It is therefore important to be filled with the Holy Spirit also, because as Christians we cannot love God with all of our spirit, soul and body without the Holy Spirit. It is even harder to love our neighbor as ourselves without the Holy Spirit, not to even talk about loving our enemies. The Holy Spirit helps us to breakthrough into the fullness of the measure of God’s love. He does this so that we will be able to apply God’s word practically, in taking as much love as we can, out of His reservoir of love into our hearts, in manifesting spiritual strength for whosoever needs it. We will live in the blessing of God with manifested love, as we are also living a victorious Christian life with it.

SO PREACH HIS WORD WITHOUT REGARDS FOR THE WORDS OF MEN

As we build God’s Kingdom here on earth with His word and love, we must not forget never to bring His word as low as, to be comparing it with the opinions or thoughts of mere men. Men’s words are never to be trusted, as we trust God’s written word. Men with their words are mostly liars, fakes and manipulators.
The Prophet Hosea once said about them:

“They have spoken empty (disingenuous) words, Swearing falsely to make covenants [they intend to break]; Therefore, judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.”
‭‭HOSEA‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This is how the Prophet described the words of the politicians, philosophers, sociologists and social world celebrities of his days. What the Prophet is saying here is very much applicable to our world today. No wonder the politicians and this godless crowd of the unsaved world don’t waste time in suing one another for their own spoken words. They go to courts for judgments on one another. Their own words has always failed them. Their words are not trustworthy. They don’t trust one another.
But God’s word can always be trusted, because it has been tested and proved to be the truth. God’s Word is final and it shall reign over many hearts in manifested love to save, heal and deliver the nations. The words of the philosophers, journalists, politicians, kings, queens, presidents and prime ministers have all been tested here on earth; and they have all always failed. God’s Word has proved them all to be liars.
Paul warned us:

“See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ….
…These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ….
…These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:8, 17, 22-23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We need to be careful not to miss eternity, for the very signs of the end that Jesus warned us about, are all around us today. But what a comfort and blessing for us in God’s Kingdom, in the midst of all that is transient and temporary and impermanent and insecure; to know that we can lay hold in our lives on God’s Word and His love, which are forever and comes from Him to us. What a blessing to know that – His Word is settled forever in the heavens. And that’s where we are headed. Amen!
