David said these words in the Passion Translation of the Bible:

“Day by day the Lord watches the good deeds of the godly and he prepares for them his forever-reward. Even in a time of disaster he will watch over them, and they will always have more than enough no matter what happens.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:18-19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, there are a lot of shiftings going on around the world. Some businesses are folding up, with the result that’s making many to loose their jobs. Not only that, but some investors are also loosing on their investments.

Yet as some are counting their losses, others are also making the advancement into new innovations. They are creating new positions and jobs for those, who are being displaced by the pandemic through the new innovations.

At the same time there are those who are now unemployed coming up, with certain innovative ideas to start new things in life. And they are really making headway with all of these. However as the investors are loosing on their investments, others are gaining from their losses as well.

This translates for us in the Body of Christ that, we do need to be getting new directions from the Lord. Make no mistake about it. The Church is not left out of all of these. God is transforming your ministry right now before your eyes. And you’d better stay connected to Him for your next assignment. You don’t need people’s opinions to move on. You need to be practicing God’s presence, to be able to know what He wants for His people in the midst of all these.

There is a lot of shifting and repositioning taking place right now worldwide. God is shifting and repositioning a lot of people and things around you. It is therefore important for you to be able to recognize and identify, your role in the midst of the shiftings and repositioning that’s going on. It will help you to know what God wants you to do in a time like this. God has some new roles for you in the midst of it all.

As King David said in the above scripture texts, God has some “forever-reward” waiting for those who are walking righteously before Him. The reward for living righteously before the Lord here, was not a reference to the life after death by David. David was talking about the life here on the earth. He was making reference to lifting his men out of the debts, distresses and discontentments in their lives (see 1 Samuel 22:1-2). And in the midst of the plague that is ravaging the world right now, God has some good things in store for His own people also.

That’s why He is causing all these shiftings and repositioning to take place for you to take over. He is setting up the table of abundance in your presence right now. But you must be ready to take your place at the table, right in the presence of your enemies (Psalms 23:5).

The transfer is in progress

We do however know from the scriptures that, whenever there is a famine or plague taking place, there is always a transfer of wealth taking place simultaneously. God always takes good care of His Own people in the midst of the famine (Hebrews 13:5).

There is a transfer of wealth taking place right now, as the coronavirus pandemic is going on. The wealth of the ungodly are being stored up for the righteous before your very eyes (Proverbs 13:22).

There is also a repositioning taking place of the righteous people, who had been unfairly treated several times in the past. God has brought to remembrance all that has been done, to unfairly treat His people in the past. There is a reward from God that’s stored up for them.

David was in this type of situation, as King Saul sought to kill him. But the Lord had to reposition things to finally reward David, with the Kingdom of Israel being given to him as the King. What the enemy was doing in order to destroy him, was turned around by God to be a blessing to David. And by the time that the Lord finally exalted David, he himself was caught by surprise about, what the Lord had done for him. God never told him what was going to be done, but He did it anyway.

The Bible says:

“And David perceived that the Lord had established him king over Israel and that He had exalted his kingdom for His people Israel’s sake.”

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭5:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God has surprises in store for you, by the time this pandemic will be over. For David the pathway to the Kingdom was not a smooth one. There were many obstacles on the way. In the same manner your pathway out of this pandemic is not going to be a smooth one. But you do have to fight the good fight of faith, to be able to come out of it, and lay hold on the reward that God has waiting for you.

The enemy fought David all the way through to the end, but the Lord strengthened him in the midst of the struggle. The scriptures says:

“Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.”

‭‭II Samuel‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As the long war continued David was constantly being strengthened by the Lord against his enemies. David was getting stronger, while his enemies were getting weaker. God is strengthening you right now in the midst of everything that’s going on, to hinder the testimonies of Jesus in your life.

Eventually one day David just came to a realization of what the Lord had done for him. He recognized through the inner witness, what the Lord had done for him. The pandemic may be taking a toll around you right now; but in the midst of all that’s going on, God has prepared a table before you. Get yourself ready to sit down at the table. Your strength is being renewed daily, like that of the eagle’s. And by the time it’s all going to be over, you are going to be seeing many new things springing up around you, as the reward of your faithfulness to the Lord.

But the key for the righteous people of God, to being able to stand strong in this new position of abundant prosperity, is in their ability to use their faith in doing exploits, so as to take possession of all that has been stored up for them. The enemy may have been fighting you for a long time. But this is your moment for the lifting up. God is moving things around. He is shifting and repositioning things and people for your favor.

As David said:

“Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭35:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You are coming out of this mess stronger than when it all began. The new position will spring up with God’s new strength in your life, and you’re going to need the new strength to create your own prosperity around yourself. All that you need is favor. God already favors you, but now he is causing the shaking to take place, so that men will have to favor you also.

They will have no other choice but to favor you, when they begin to notice the new strength that, the Lord has blessed you with to come out of this mess. This is what will make you stand out differently from the world around you. The ungodly will begin to seek after the glory of God in your life. They will come to see Jesus being glorified in you.

“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:25-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s not going to be automatic

Just because you are moving up however, doesn’t necessarily translate automatically into being able, to take hold of that upward position. The devil is going to fight you tooth and nail. He is going to do everything possible to make sure that, you are never able to hold on tightly to what is yours.

He will throw everything from the pit of hell at you, because he does not want you there. He does not want you to have what God has stored up for you. He wants to see you away from that new position, which God has placed in front of you.

It’s for this very purpose that Paul told Timothy, not to take hold of the goodness of the Lord like some others were doing. He advised him:

“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭6:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You will need to be diligent in pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith in God, the God’s kind of love (agape), patience (long suffering) and gentleness (a calmness of heart). You will need these qualities in your life, to be able to fight the good fight of faith, so as to be able to take hold of what has been stored up for you.

You will need to be making the good confession of your faith in God. You will need to be speaking not like the people of the world around you. You will need to be declaring those things that God has revealed to you in the spirit, as though they are already a reality in your life.

That’s how you are going to lay hold firmly, on what the Lord has prepared for you in the presence of your enemies. You may sound unrealistic to them, but you are not living in the real world of the earth. You are living in the high places with Christ Jesus. It’s from this position of who you are in Him, that you’re going to bring changes to the world around you. The world will come to realize that you’re different, because Jesus has made the difference in you.

So get yourself ready and put on the nature of God to transform the world. This is the beginning of a new thing in your life. Start calling those things out, those new ideas, those new innovations that are being revealed to you. The Lord is leading and guiding you into a new plain of prosperity. Those who are keeping themselves strong in the Lord, are in for surprises from their Heavenly Father:

“For you shall not go out with haste, Nor go by flight; For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:12‬ ‭NKJV
