As the COVID-19 continues to take lives around the world, it’s important for every Christian who is taking the Everlasting Covenant strongly to the heart; to be doubly sure of standing firm in it. Now, it takes faith to be able to do this. You can’t adhere to living by the terms of the Covenant, without having faith in it to work for you.
And your faith must be based on nothing else, apart from what Jesus had said about this situation. Don’t forget that the devil has faith also, together with all the demons under his leadership (James 2:19). The only difference between your faith and theirs, is that they dread your opposition to their schemes.
The dread of who you are, and what you are capable of doing against them, forms the basis of their fear. But on the other hand your faith in God, has the divine love of heaven as its backbone.
Your faith works supernaturally in ways which men can never discern or understand. Your faith breaks and destroys every scientific theories and established researches that surrounds COVID-19. Your faith does not make sense to the scientists, that’s why they have categorized you as not being essential to your community.
But hold on a little while because that very faith in your heart, which they are calling “non essential”; is about to become the very solution that they had been looking for. The devil may be pulling his best shot against the Body of Christ right now. But we already know the bottom line of it all. We’ll always win (1 John 5:4-5)!:
For:
“having wiped out the handwriting of requirements (of restrictions and lockdowns) that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”
Colossians 2:14-15 NKJV
You are already the winner in this case. Christ had already removed all of the restrictions against you on the cross. The devil is just struggling to resist what is yours already. And in a very short time you will see him crawl back into his place in terror of you. They may be calling your gatherings “non essential” right now; because of the lies of the devil in them. But in a little while these same people will be calling on you to pray for them.
As Paul once said:
“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
II Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV
The god of the system of this world is Satan himself. And those who are calling Churches “non essential” are just dancing to the tunes of the devil. It’s an insult to be referring to the faith of the Bible believing Christians as “non essential”. But we do know who is at the bottom of all these – the devil himself.
Get to know the nature of this spiritual warfare
When the devil was thrown away from the heavens, he was removed together with all the fallen angels who were following him. They had all rebelled against our God. The fallen angels in covenant with Satan rebelled against the Most High God. They do actually believe in their covenant together, and they will do anything to protect it.
And as a Christian you can’t just be folding your hands, when you know that your spiritual enemies are in covenant together. You have to be doing your part in this spiritual warfare here on the earth, to protect your Covenant with the Most High God. When you get involved you are joining forces with the angels of God in the heavens. The battle against COVID-19 is a spiritual battle, against your Everlasting Covenant of faith in God.
The spiritual world functions by Covenants. You will be unable to penetrate into that realm, if you’re not standing firm in your Covenant before God here on earth. You are either on God’s side or the devil’s side. You can’t be for both sides at all.
These are the two opposing forces which do exists in the realm of the spirit. And if you’re on the side of God and His angels, you will need to be solidifying your Covenant with God here on the earth, because that’s exactly what the devil is seeking to destroy.
You are a spiritual man who had been created in the image of God – who is Spirit (John 4:24). You do have a soul (mind) that is not born again, but needs to be continually renewed with the word of God concerning your Covenant. This is because your mind is that part of you, that the devil and his demons are targeting to take over, in their plan to bring you down.
Your physical body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. You have the authority over your body. The devil does not! That’s why you must learn how to resist every temptation against your physical body, with clearly and well articulated words. The devil is seeking to use temptations to defy your physical body; because it’s the place from where the Holy Spirit lives and works through you. He is seeking to take that place. You must not give him the room in you at all (Ephesians 4:27).
The Holy Spirit lives inside of you, for the purpose of leading and guiding you, into taking hold of your victory in this spiritual warfare. You are never alone in this warfare. You need therefore to cultivate the habit of constantly fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. You must become very intimate with Him.
It’s important to note that in this spiritual warfare against the forces of evil, it is the side that you are showing most of your allegiance to on the earth, that you are in reality committed to in the realm of the spirit as well. You can’t say that you belong to God, and still be spending most of your time, actively participating in the works of the devil on this earth. That’s the negative signal which many keeps sending into the spirit world. Then they wonder why their prayers are not being effective.
Be very careful! That’s how many had predetermined their own downfall, before even beginning the war against the devil itself. The Bible described to us what really happened in the heavens, when Satan fell from his position before God.
It says:
“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Revelation 12:7-9 NKJV
The devil and the fallen angels who are in covenant with him, were all thrown out of the heavens with him. As a result of this our planet became the only place left for them, to live in so as to survive. They are now bodiless creations, because they had lost their heavenly bodies when they rebelled against God, and were thrown out of their positions in the heavens. That’s why they are now roaming the earth looking for any available human physical body to live in.
The Bible continued by saying:
“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
Revelation 12:12 NKJV
Note that the scripture clearly suggests that, “woe to” those living on the earth; because this planet is the only place left for the devil and his demons to live in. He is homeless, and desperately seeking for any available mind or soul to occupy as his home.
That’s why we have to see the affliction of the physical body with sicknesses and deadly diseases, as part of the end time plan of the devil, to take over the lives of as many human beings as possible. This the real battle against coronavirus!
You’re in God’s Army. There’s no time for games!
The devil knows that he has a very short time available for him, to get a home to live in. He knows that the end is very close for him. This was how the stage was set from the foundation of the earth in the spiritual warfare, that we are involved in on the earth as the children of God, because as the scripture says again:
“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Revelation 12:17 NKJV
Whether you like it or not you are already enlisted in the Lord’s army. You are a soldier for Christ. And in the midst of what is going on right now, you need to understand that you must:
“Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him.”
2 Timothy 2:3-4 TPT
You can’t be effective in this spiritual warfare, if you’re still struggling to disengage yourself, from the unnecessary weight of the world; that are pulling you away from being totally committed to Christ (Hebrews 121-2).
A real soldier for Christ does not ever get himself deeply involved in civilian business. He lives to please the One who had enlisted him. You are not called to get yourself involved in the dirty works of civilian life. Those things will only stain your reputation for Jesus. The systems of this world are evil and corrupt to the core. You have no business dealing with them. The real person you’re dealing with is their master – the devil himself.
There are however many wicked people on the earth today, who had entered into unholy covenants with the devil also. They are working for him and his demons to make sure that, you are never effective in this spiritual warfare. The devil uses them to bring up the unnecessary weight of sin against you. Their goal is to destroy you and the beautiful world, that God Almighty has created for you to enjoy.
The devil believes in covenants just like you. He respects them, because he knows that it’s the only way to keep things going for him on the earth. He cannot work by himself alone, without his covenant with the wicked here on the earth. He needs partners like the demons and the wicked people around you, to operate on the earth against you.
But he respects your Everlasting Covenant with God. He however will do everything possible to undermine it. Especially since he knows how committed you are to it. He does this through deceptions and lies, so as to take your focus away from it.
As soon as you begin to look at his lies, by paying attention to them; he will make those lies appear more and more attractive to you, until you get yourself ensnared by them.
That’s why you need to be very careful with his deceptions, because no matter how attractive they may look like, they are all still lies. That’s why Paul was telling Timothy in the above scripture texts, to disengage completely from those who are working for the devil.
It’s impossible for you to walk in Covenant with God in the wisdom of this world. God cannot be mocked. This is a very serious thing. You can’t belong to God and still allow your lifestyle as a Christian, to be ruled by the desires for the evils of this world.
The devil is a master manipulator of the wisdom of the world. He will use it to take your eyes away from God, and your Covenant with Him. That’s how he will be able to undermine your Everlasting Covenant with God, and cause to fall into temptations.
Watch and pray!
You must therefore make up your mind to keep faith in the Covenant, especially in the midst of what is going on on the earth today with the coronavirus. Jesus had forewarned us about this moment before when He said:
“There will be mighty and violent earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences (plagues: malignant and contagious or infectious epidemic diseases which are deadly and devastating); and there will be sights of terror and great signs from heaven.”
Luke 21:11 AMPC
And He had also told us how to react in the midst of the coronavirus. You don’t need a word of Prophecy from anyone to come out of COVID-19. Don’t let the fake prophets of gloom and doom deceive you. Jesus had already spoken. And what He said about what your reaction should be to COVID-19 is in the Bible. Look into the word of God. Read it. Meditate on it until you catch the revelation of the mystery inside it. Then you will get the glimpse into the depth of the spiritual warfare that we are now involved in.
Jesus had already said:
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:36 NKJV
You see, the word “pestilence” in scriptures is a direct reference to “plagues, deadly diseases and other forms of devastations like the COVID-19. But it’s how you respond with your faith in the Covenant of healing, that will determine the level of protection which you will get from the Lord, as time goes on with COVID-19.
You can’t be folding your hands without actively keeping Him in remembrance, of His promises of healing for you. That’s how you will be able to activate the Covenant to work for you. And that’s how you can do what Jesus commanded us to do, in being watchful as we are praying. That’s how you will be able to stand before the Son of Man (Jesus), free and delivered from coronavirus. It will not get you, because of the protection that’s yours in the Blood Covenant with God.
You have to keep Jesus in remembrance by speaking, the words of the Covenant of healing with you. Note that Jesus referred to Himself as the Son of Man above. In other words He was making you to see, that your victory is only certain if you will stand before Him, just as He stood before the Father when He was on the earth.
This is your protection against COVID-19. This was how He stood before the Father on the earth. He said:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”
John 5:19 NKJV
Most especially when the ungodly will come asking for your view points, about the situation in your community today with COVID-19. We are supposed to be speaking in accordance with the Covenant of healing with them. That’s what you can see the Father doing today from the scriptures. Talk about your Covenant of healing to them.
You need to be letting them and the devil know that, your case is different from what they are experiencing. If you are not speaking out, you will surely get yourself entangled in the trap of the devil. You have the opportunity to testify about Jesus to them. You can also show them the way to be saved from the destruction, just as you are being protected and delivered.
The devil wants you to be speaking against the Blood Covenant, but you must be resolved to let him know where you stand – before the Son of Man. You must be ready to put him where he belongs at all times. Your victory stand is before the Son of Man in this world. That’s what makes your life a miracle to them. They will begin to see you do what Jesus did as a Man on the earth.
When you are doing this, you are giving a notice to the angel of destruction of the COVID-19, not to come near you and your household at all. The devil knows you by what you are always saying with your mouth. He cares less about what you believe with your heart. He wants you to keep your faith in the heart, because he knows that the moment you start talking about it, you will be working to stop his plan, in destroying many lives in your community.
As long as you are not professing the words of the Covenant with your mouth, then you’re not a risk to him. He likes the Christians who are quiet about their faith. Their inability to make a clear stand known with spoken words, gives him the opportunity to fight against their faith. He does this by infiltrating their thought pattern with his own garbage.
Your Covenant stand before the Lord terrifies the devil. He cannot stand before any Covenant keeper at all. He knows that those who are sleeping off and letting things slip away, will eventually abandon their Covenant for the diluted form of it, which he is offering.
So he goes about circulating his lies to deceive these gullible Christians everywhere. These are the ones who will eventually abandon the hope of their calling. They are the ones who are already falling into all types of temptations; which Satan has designed for them in bringing them down.
This is not the time for you to be dozing off.
Remember that Jesus once told the disciples:
““Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “You need to be alert and pray for the strength to endure the great temptation.””
Luke 22:46 TPT
Spiritual strength to stand up against the devil, comes when you refuse to fall asleep spiritually, in the midst of a pandemic like this one. You must become spiritually more alert than ever before, to what the enemy is doing around you; while you are standing in your Covenant before the Lord. The devil is very sneaky and can be very aggressive also, when he sees an opening that he can penetrate against you.
That’s why Jesus said to keep “watching and praying”. Don’t let down your guard. Pray without ceasing! Prayer and intercession is your key for drawing that strength from the Lord. If you’re not praying, you will eventually fall asleep spiritually. You will find yourself entrapped by the wiles of the enemy around you.
Many had already taken the bait from the devil. But remember that the Prophet Isaiah also said:
“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
Isaiah 62:6-7 NKJV
Those who are the watchmen against the coronavirus are keeping themselves in steps, with their Covenant before the Lord. They will refuse to be quiet in making mention of it always before Him. To them there is no night time or daytime. They are committed to prayer and intercession, as the Lord leads and guides them into it.
You see, it is important to keep step with God in the spirit and by the Spirit, especially in a time like this. The wisdom of God is spiritual and not sensual.
The wisdom of the world is of the intellect, and most often those who are guided by their feelings, are relying on their intelligence and their senses, to help them get out of the situation with the COVID-19. You will often hear them talk about how they feel about things. And they will never talk about what the Bible says about those things.
They are the Christians whose testimonies of Jesus has been made powerless by their local worldview. They are very dangerous to your faith in God. Watch out for them! And be careful about associating with them. They are the ones about whom Jude warned us when he wrote:
“These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
Jude 1:19-21 NKJV
And Jesus warned us about them when He told the Pharisees:
“For you’ve set yourselves up as judges of others based on outward appearances, but I certainly never judge others in that way.”
John 8:15 TPT
They may be filled in the Holy Spirit, but they will rarely speak in tongues. They are the ones who will rage against you, when you are praying in the spirit, because their heart desires belongs to the world, and they are never committed to the Kingdom of God.
It’s important to note that these ones are very good at attending church meetings, including prayer meetings as well. But they won’t pray at all when they come, because they are on special assignment to weigh you down spiritually, and hinder your effectiveness in prayer and intercession.
They are the Christians who have allowed their personal feelings, to override the teachings of Jesus in the Bible concerning their lives. The enemy uses them within the Body of Christ to pull strong believers down into temptations. Watch out for them!
That’s why it’s important to pay attention to what Jude said above. You have a Christian duty to protect yourself, and your faith against their infiltration into your gatherings, by praying in the Holy Spirit at all times.
By praying unyieldingly like this, you are able to protect your faith and build it up, while at the same time keeping yourself in the love of God towards them. When you are doing this you are protecting your Covenant with God from being polluted by the devil.
It’s very tough to do this, especially when you do know how critical these believers are towards you. But as long as you are able to focus on prayer and intercession, the Holy Spirit will guide you in showing you the way out to deliver you from them. He will show you the best way to confront the devil, who is working through them against your faith.
That’s why you need spiritual wisdom and not intellectual wisdom to defeat the devil. Intellectual wisdom cannot keep step with spiritual wisdom in your life. And you need spiritual wisdom to be a Covenant keeper with God, because He is far ahead of you in that realm (Isaiah 55:8-9).
James described the spiritual wisdom that you need in this way:
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
James 3:17-18 NKJV
The wisdom of God that comes to you, as you keep praying in the Holy Spirit, will garrison over your heart to give you His peace. This is how the fruit of righteousness will come out of your life.
So be alert! Be watchful! Your enemy is not sleeping. Why should you ever be caught napping by Jesus, whenever He shows up to deliver you! Tighten up the spiritual belt on your loin. Be instant in season and out of season, because your redemption is closer than you ever thought before:
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
