The Scriptures advised us to:
“See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”
Hebrews 12:25-28 NKJV
In the midst of the numerous situations that are being shaken all over the world right now, there are Christians who are just sitting on the sidelines, while waiting for the passing away of time about those issues.
If they had been praying while watching and waiting for the changes to come, it would have been better for them. But unfortunately, they are not doing that.
Things do not however change for good, until Christians begins to pray. That’s the simple truth.
The key to change the world is in the hands of the believers in the name of Jesus. We have the power to bring the changes of heaven into our world through prayer and intercession (Matthew 6:10).
But unfortunately, many Christians are not praying even though Jesus thought us to be praying (Matthew 24:20).
They are just sitting on the sidelines for others to be praying for them.
There has to be some shakings of certain things on the earth, so that those who are really standing on the word of God can be revealed:
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope, because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now”.
Romans 8:19-22 NKJV
There are some other groups of believers in Christ Jesus, who are in fact drifting away from the lifestyle of faith, as they are being distracted by the side attractions of the world around them, instead of keeping their eyes on Jesus. They can’t pray, because they have drifted away from keeping steadfast to their faith.
The enemy continues to use his deceptions from the world around them, to drag them away from the lifestyle of faith. Fear as a result of this, has crippled their faith in God for corresponding action.
It is, however, whatever we are paying more attention to, that we will end up becoming in life. If you are paying a lot of attention to the distractions of the world, you will become increasingly worldly, even though you do profess to be a Christian.
This is how the ongoing shakings around the world has affected the faith of certain Christians.
Some don’t even read the Bible anymore, while others are no more praying as they used to do before.
Some others have quit the fellowship of Bible believers while being consumed with what the enemy is doing around them.
When a child of God is being distracted to be looking at the world, instead of looking at Jesus in response to what the devil is doing; whatever is happening to the world will come upon that child of God also.
The Lord God does not ever bring the sufferings of the wicked upon His own children. They were the ones who had stretched out their hands to the devil, and consequently they had gotten themselves ensnared.
Bad things will happen to good people, whenever good people are doing what the bad people are doing.
Things don’t happen by accident. People are the ones who are creating the results that they are getting from the world around them.
The devil is not the problem either. People are reaping of the seeds that they are sowing into the world around them. If you’re sowing words of faith, you will reap the harvest that comes with it. But if you’re sowing the fear of the world, you will reap the harvest thereof.
The law of seed time and harvest time applies to your words of confession to the situations, which the enemy has created around you (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
The work of faith will always produce the harvest of faith. And in the same manner also the work of fear will also produce the results thereof. But when we remain unmovable and unshakable with our eyes on Jesus alone, the outcome becomes different for us.
As the scriptures above says: “the things which cannot be shaken may remain”. And because you are unshakable, you will end up receiving the unshakable Kingdom of God. Faith in God’s word will keep you strong in a world that is falling apart.
Of course, the Lord God is moving and turning things around. He is doing this for the good of those who are loved by Him.
Are you moving along with God? Or are you moving along with the world?
If you are setting your gaze on Jesus with your faith in His precious promises, while watching and waiting with prayer and intercession, then you will surely inherit the promises of God (2 Peter 1:3-4).
Only those who are looking at Jesus, as the Author and Perfecter of their faith will eventually be found standing at the end.
Are you a spectator with the world? Or are you a prayerful watchman and intercessor before the Lord with the hosts of heaven?
We are living in the moment of the history of the world, when heaven will eventually judge us, based on our stand in the midst of a changing world.
When the time comes and you do appear before the Lord in glory, will He call you “good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21and 23)?
Or are you going to appear before Him, as one who has barely escaped through the fire of the shakings?
Beholding Jesus in the mirror.

Those who are watching with their eyes looking at Jesus, are being transformed in His presence with the watchman anointing, for the healing and restoration of all that the enemy has destroyed around them. As the scripture says:
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
II Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
This statement by the Apostle Paul is for every Christian “with unveiled face”, who are “beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord”.
These are the Christians who are being transformed in the midst of the shakings going on around the world. As they are resting in the Lord while watching and waiting in His presence, the glory of the Lord is transforming them.
An “unveiled face” points directly to the removal of any form of hypocrisy before the Lord in their lives.
An openness of heart with an attitude of faith before the Lord, has brought the healing anointing upon those who are watching with unveiled face.
As they are beholding the image of Jesus as in a mirror into their lives, they are being transformed to become more like Him.
They are being transformed as they are watching and waiting before the Lord. Their transformation is based on their faith in God’s promises, as they are looking through the mirror of His word for the reflection of Jesus into their lives.
This is how their transformation brings the healing, deliverance and restoration anointing upon them, to become exactly like Jesus to their world.
The healing, restoration and revival!

And for sure the world needs the healing, deliverance and restoration anointing right now.
The beautiful thing about restoration (see Joel 2:23-26), is that it will always come with a harvest and revival (see also Joel 2:28-32).
The Bible once mentioned about the nation of Israel before the captivity to Babylon. They were in a desperate need for restoration. The Prophet Hosea had therefore urged them:
“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us; he has injured us, but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”
Hosea 6:1-3 NIV
There is a healing, deliverance and restoration theme that is prevalent in the writings of Hosea. And he had the watchman anointing that comes with his prophetic words for his people (Hosea 9:8).
Whenever the Lord heals, there is always an anointing that brings deliverance and restoration upon the lives of those who had been healed. It comes in the sequence as mentioned here by Hosea – healing, deliverance, restoration and revival.
The healing and deliverance revival always comes with the harvest and restoration. Hosea had said about Judah:
“Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, When I return the captives of My people.”
Hosea 6:11 NKJV
The Lord is always the One who appoints and sets the harvest time for his people, as He heals and restores them.
Have you lost so much in the past few years? It’s important to open up your heart for the healing, deliverance and restoration anointing for your harvest. The Lord will not only restore you back into your former estate.
But there is a harvest of increase from the Lord that is coming in your direction. Get yourself in line by faith for it.
The Prophet Hosea revealed how the healing, deliverance and restoration anointing flowed from the Lord to His people. The prophetic word by Hosea here reveals to us how the healing anointing from the Lord works.
The Lord had spoken through him:
“I taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by their arms; But they did not know that I healed them. I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them.”
Hosea 11:3-4 NKJV
We can see how the Lord moves gently with the bands of His love to heal the sick. He gently removes the yoke of sicknesses and diseases, while stooping to our own level through Christ Jesus, to nourish and feed us until we are completely restored.
What an amazing description about how the Lord’s healing anointing flows, to heal the sick, deliver the captives and bring restoration and prosperity into our lives.
There are people today, who are seeking healing with a drive through attitude in Churches. It’s not all the time that healing comes in such a way.
Jesus works sometimes just as the Doctor to heal us. The Lord heals with the “bands of His love”. With His word He manifests His love to heal and deliver us.
There are people who are struggling to receive healing and deliverance, because they are struggling to accept the fact that God loves them. They are thinking that they are so unworthy to receive His love. And if you can’t receive His love, you won’t be able to receive His healing and deliverance anointing.
And every time we are embracing His word of healing, His band of love releases His balm to heal us and deliver us. Anyone who is expecting to be healed and delivered by the Lord, must embrace His word of healing and deliverance by believing in it and confessing it.
And His word is the manifestation of His love to us.
The Bible says:
“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
I John 5:3 NKJV
There is no use of restoring the estate of someone who has not been healed and delivered. Restoration is good. But if you are unable to receive His love through His word to heal and deliver you, you apparently can’t get all that the enemy has stolen from you restored.
We can see the Mother Nature of the Lord God here as illustrated by the Prophet Hosea, in feeding and nourishing His people to bring them restoration.
He does here what a mother normally does by gently calming her child, while being breastfed. And any child that rejects the breastfeeding of the mother can’t grow up appropriately. God’s love is the band that heals, delivers and restores us.
That’s why it’s important to have the patience to wait while watching in His presence. If you want to get nourished from His presence, you will have to be calmed like a baby who is being fed from the mother’s breast.
This is what the Lord God does as we are watching and waiting in His presence.
Those who are being renewed with the anointing from His presence are being restored. Restoration gives them the strength to do much more for the Lord. They are more focused with total attention on the Lord as they are steadfastly waiting in His presence.
And you will become whatever you are paying more attention to as you’re waiting in His presence.
Whenever God’s people are paying attention to the things that will defile them, they will become defiled and liable for destruction.
That explains why certain Christians had fallen away with the ongoing shakings among Christians around the world. The Lord never brought it on them. They brought it upon themselves.
His presence comes with your mind renewed!

If you are paying attention to the world, you and the people who are looking up to your example in life, will end up looking like the world.
But if you are paying more attention to God’s word in your dealings with Church people, as you are watching and praying, you will be transformed to be more like Him.
And eventually if you will allow God’s presence to transform you, you can transform the lives of others around you also.
The Lord will give you a word in season and out of season, so as to comfort and encourage those who are oppressed among His people.
Every pastor needs to be able to tap into this anointing. It will make you to start pastoring the sheep without struggling.
This is what the watchman anointing does for those, who are watching and waiting before the Lord. There is a freshness of the anointing from the Lord upon them, as they are spending more time in His presence.
The watchman anointing within the Body of Christ today brings healing, deliverance and restoration.
Revival begins with the watchman in this manner to the world around him. As the watchman is watching and praying, there is an open door for healing, deliverance and restoration, that begins to move within the Body of Christ around him.
The ministration of God’s word becomes much easier and more effective, as the flow of the anointing to heal the sick and deliver the captives begins to flow.
There are congregations where that anointing is not available today, because they have not accepted the watchman ministry in their midst.
That’s why they are not seeing lost souls getting saved, the sick being healed and the captives being delivered. Wherever the watchman anointing is present, the preaching of the word of God brings salvation, healing and deliverance.
It takes a lot of patience to watch and wait before the Lord. If you are too much in a hurry to tarry in His presence, you won’t be able to flow effectively in that anointing.
That’s why the Prophet Isaiah said:
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV
Those who are weak and wary to watch and pray, are obviously not doing the right things to renew their strength, so as to get restored.
That’s evidently why they are weak and wary. Renewal comes by meditating on God’s word with prayer.
But even as we are meditating on the scriptures, we are still in His presence. And every time you are meditating on the promises of God in the scriptures, you are increasing your capacity to grow as you are developing your faith. A fully developed or matured faith brings complete restoration into your life.
Why were the Apostles (Peter, James and John) sleeping while Jesus was right in front of them, showing them how to watch and pray in the garden of Gethsemane? And why didn’t the five virgins remember to get some oil in order to be watching and waiting for the bridegroom?
They were obviously weak and wary, as Isaiah pointed out here that it can happen to anyone.
We must be careful not to be missing out of God’s blessing, by hurrying out of His presence. Many have missed great opportunities in God’s presence with this type of attitude.
The oil as a type of the anointing is meant for healing, deliverance, renewal of strength and restoration of whatever the enemy has stolen from us.
It’s important that the people of God function appropriately with it through prayer and intercession, because that’s how the Body of Christ can begin to tap into the anointing directly, from the presence of the Lord.
When we are watching and waiting with patience before the Lord, we are drawing from that anointing in His presence.
That’s why it’s impossible to understand those who want to “drive through” Church meetings, whenever they are coming to the house of the Lord. The oil of that healing, deliverance and restoration anointing from the presence of the Lord, is not for the people who can’t tarry in His presence.
This says a lot about why some congregations are not seeing souls getting saved, people getting healed and delivered. It’s all because they are blocking the flow of the watchman anointing in their midst by not accepting this ministry, which the Lord has placed among them to bless them.
God is in the blessing business. But if His people are not ready to accept His blessing, how will they prosper with it?
As Isaiah said in the scripture texts above, it is those who are watching and waiting before the Lord, who will get their strength renewed with the anointing oil from His presence.
Are you always in a hurry to leave Church meetings? Or are you in a hurry to rush out of prayer meetings?
That’s why you are obviously not growing spiritually as you should be growing with your faith. You are not allowing His presence to feed you and saturate you. And it takes quality time in His presence for you to be able to experience this.
You may be doing ministry routinely and mechanically or religiously, without His presence being with you. The Lord wants you to get to know Him intimately. The intimate relationship with Him comes from practicing His presence.
Begin today by worshipping more in His presence. The Lord has something special for you. Watch and wait until His presence begins to envelope you.
