The blood of Jesus washes away the sins of all humanity. Jesus shed his blood for us all on the cross at Calvary, so that no other sacrifice will ever have to be made again. The very blood that took away our sins stands before God eternally, for our continual cleansing, each time we approach the mercy seat of God.

The blood stained garment that was on Jesus, as He came out in victory over the enemy, and seen by the Prophet Isaiah in the spirit (Isaiah 63:1-6); is the very same garment that will be on Him as He returns to take His kingdom back.

The Bible says:

“He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.”

Revelation 19:13 NIV

This shows to us the significance of the blood in the eternal sacrifice and peace, that Christ made for us by the shedding of His blood. Without the shedding of His blood, we had no remission of our sins. It is the shedding of His blood that makes the throne of grace always accessible to us, so we can receive mercy and grace for the time of need and also for the forgiveness of our sins.

The Blood Cleanses and Purifies us to live for Him

It is in the adamic nature of man to sin. As believers in Christ Jesus we may be susceptible to temptations and sins, because of the adamic nature of sin and death inside of us. But thanks be to God for all that Christ did for us on the cross (Romans 8:2-3). We can destroy every power of sin, and mutilate that adamic nature, by the power of the Holy Spirit living inside us.

Eternal salvation is of the heart or the human spirit. The human mind and body still struggles with temptation and sin. And a born again believer in Christ is still included in that struggle, because it is the spirit of man that got born of the Spirit of God. The mind and the body still struggles, with the adamic nature of sin and death inside us. The mind and the body of man cannot be born again.

But it is the power of the blood of Jesus, that protects us from the various attacks of the enemy into temptations and sins. The blood of Jesus is still as powerful today, as it was more than two thousand years ago. The blood has never and will never loose its power.

The scripture says:

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

1 John 1:7 NIV

The blood of Jesus still has the power to purify us. In preparing the way for the return of the Lord, the blood of Jesus works in cleansing us continually. It works to make us worthy vessels in the hands of the Holy Spirit, as we bring in the end time harvest into the kingdom of God.

Holy Spirit purifies and sanctifies us for the return of the Lord

Jesus is coming back again. That is why He had sent us the Holy Spirit, in cleansing us and making us ready to be used of God for the end time harvest. We are now living in the last days, as Jesus cleanses up the vessels that God, the Father had separated, appointed and anointed for the end time use.

The Lord spoke of this through the Prophet Malachi when he declared:

““I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty. But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,”

Malachi 3:1-3 NIV

A Levite is a Priest who ministers to the Lord. By definition, a priest is a minister or administrator of divine things. He or she is a person who stewards and operates in authority over spiritual matters. A priest is a person who’s been given the power to implement certain things of God and bring them to come to pass. Those things of God includes His plans for our lives to be participants in bringing back the Lord of glory – Jesus Christ. Every born again child of God is part of that plan of God.

We are now living in the days that Malachi described here. The Holy Spirit is the refiner and purifier of the priests. He is the One sent by God to make the Levites (His priests and vessels) ready and available for use by Him.

We are now living in the days when Jesus will start using people, through whom He manifests Himself as the Savior, the Healer and the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit as priests. Ordinary believers in Christ will do extraordinary things.

The Prophet Malachi said of that day again:

““Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the LORD Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty.”

Malachi 4:1-3 NIV

Righteousness is the watch word here. A people that lives for righteousness, is the people that is ready and prepared for the return of the Lord. Healing, miracles, signs and wonders will manifest through their lifestyle. God is refining and purifying His people (the Bride of Christ), to be ready with the harvest for the return of the Bridegroom. They will do extraordinary things that the world had never seen before.

The more they allow the Holy Spirit to cleanse and purify them; the easier it will be for them to hear the voice of His Spirit.

Be separated and Be ready to Be used of God

Paul told Timothy of this also when he wrote:

“In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”

2 Timothy 2:20-22 NIV

The Holy Spirit is doing His work to purge us all and cleanse us all, so as to be the vessel ready to be used by God in these last days. The ability to pursue righteousness comes as the Holy Spirit purges and cleanses a believer. He is the refining fire of God.

That is why we must do as the writer of the book of Hebrews says, in getting ready for the return of the Lord:

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”

Hebrews 12:1 NIV

We are living in the time when everything that is like a weight or a burden, to any minister of the gospel has to be laid off. Jesus is the weight and burden carrier. No minister of the gospel has to be carrying any weight or sin. As Jesus carries the weight and takes away the sin that is preventing many from doing things in the kingdom of God; the Holy Spirit will begin to move them into doing things that had never been done before.

But many will have to do the throwing away, of certain things from their lives first, before the Holy Spirit will start leading them in this way. The Holy Spirit cannot move in a vessel that has weight and sin. It is time to begin seeking righteousness.

There are some carnal things that are just spiritual junks in many Christians’ lives. They must be thrown away. And each believer in Christ knows, what they are struggling with in the flesh. Those struggles must cease now. Jesus must be exalted.

Many are aware that the Holy Spirit has been dealing with them about these things for some time now. It is now time for action. Get rid of them now. Jesus is coming soon.

The weight and sin had been blocking your blessings for too long. They had been making the word of God through you as the minister of grace, of no effect in the kingdom of God. Many of these things are not necessarily sinful, but they are just spiritual junks that the enemy uses to block the flow of the Holy Spirit through the life of a believer. Get rid of them now.

When we feed on the word of God as the human body feeds on physical food; then our spirit man is empowered. The Holy Spirit then has something to work with, through us to bring in the end time harvest.

The reason why so many Christians are weak spiritually is the lack of spiritual food in their lives. They will feed the physical body three times in a day; but will feed the spirit man just once in a week. This explains why many are weak spiritually.

Our body and mind depends on our spirit man to stay alive, and the spiritual force that they draw from it, helps them in fulfilling the purposes of God for our lives. If the spirit of a man is strong in the things of God, the mind and physical body of that man will be strong also.

Solomon said:

“Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.”

PROVERBS 4:23 AMP

And again:

“The spirit of a man sustains him in sickness, But as for a broken spirit, who can bear it?”

PROVERBS 18:14 AMP

Jesus also said:

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh conveys no benefit [it is of no account]. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life [providing eternal life].”

JOHN 6:63 AMP

When a believer’s spirit is strong in the word of God, that believer becomes ready to be used of God. The Holy Spirit finds such believer as a vessel of honor, ready for the Master’s use.

Change comes as we judge ourselves

This is the moment of change in your life as a believer. Jesus is coming back again. You cannot afford to continue with the old failing games of dead religious activities. It is time for righteousness to shine forth in you, and in the demonstration of the power of the kingdom of God. It is time to open up your heart to the righteous Judge, and let Him work through you.

You had been holding back from Him in the past, but you cannot afford to keep holding back anymore, or else you will fall on your face down. And you know it now, that the game is over.

Let me be honest with you; that your Heavenly Father loves you. He does not want to do anything in hurting you. But He expects you to be straight forward with Him. He wants you to begin by judging yourself, so that He will not have to judge you. Self judgement is good and very productive for your spirit man.

The Bible says:

“But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged. But when we [fall short and] are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined [by undergoing His correction] so that we will not be condemned [to eternal punishment] along with the world.”

1 CORINTHIANS 11:31-32 AMP

You have nothing to loose, but the evil in you when you judge yourself. It will help you and keep you from escaping the judgment of God.

But if God will have to eventually correct, the things holding you back from Him; then He will have to train you and instruct you to fulfill His will, in bringing in the end time harvest as the Lord returns. And His training may be rigorous and though for you, but thorough to the end.

The Holy Spirit is the One, who does the correction in the life of every believer. He does it through the word of God in us, to prepare the way for the Lord’s return through our lives.

The Bible says:

“All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately–behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17 AMP

The correction by the Holy Spirit in this manner, is often called the “washing of water by the word of God”. Paul mentioned this while using the relationship between Christ and His Bride (the Church), to explain how a man should treat his wife.

He wrote:

“so that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God], so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.”

EPHESIANS 5:26-27 AMP

God uses His word in judging us through the Holy Spirit. When God reveals Himself to us, He does it through His word. And His judgment comes to us through His word. The Bible says again:

“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.”

HEBREWS 4:12-13 AMP

If the word of God does not condemn us, we shall not be condemned. If the word does not judge us, we shall not be judged. God sees and knows our hearts’ intentions. He uses His word always to judge those intentions. Our thoughts are never hidden from Him. We need to cultivate the habit of meditating on His word, so that our thoughts will be pleasing to Him only. This is one sure way of escaping His judgment.

We are the Bride of Christ or the body of Christ. We are anointed like Christ to do the very works that He did. We had been anointed by God to bring in the end time harvest and prepare the way for the Lord to return. This is the moment the body of Christ had been waiting for in a very long time, to bring back the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What are you going to do in bringing Him back?
